WINNIPEG - All of Manitoba, including Winnipeg, is under an extreme cold warning.
An Arctic ridge of high pressure has allowed for a very cold air mass to settle over southern Manitoba.
This is causing wind chill values of -40 or colder.
Some areas may rebound slightly on Saturday afternoon but this extreme cold warning will likely remain in place into Sunday morning.
The bitterly cold air will remain over the Prairies for much of next week.
