UPDATE – Wanted for 1st Degree Murder in Winnipeg

WINNIPEG, MB. – On January 16 of this year police requested the public’s help locating Matthew Marjanovic, 29 of Winnipeg who was wanted for the murder of Mustafa Peyawar.

At the time it was believed that Marjanovic may have been in the city of Vancouver, Edmonton or Calgary.

Last night, at 7:20 p.m., police arrested Marjanovic following a traffic stop on the St. Vital Bridge by the Winnipeg Police the Tactical Team.

WINNIPEG, MB. – Matthew Marjanovic, 29 of Winnipeg, is wanted by police for first degree murder.

Police describe Marjanovic as a male, Caucasian, 5’6”, 140 lbs, with short brown, brown eyes and numerous tattoos.

Marjanovic is wanted in connection with the August 13, 2017, death of Mustafa Peyawary. He is believed to be in the Vancouver or Alberta (Edmonton or Calgary) area.

Police are cautioning the public and advising you not to approach him as he is considered to be armed and dangerous. If seen, the public is asked to call 911.
