Two Winnipeg Men Hit With a Total of 60 Charges

WINNIPEG, MB – The Winnipeg police Street Crime Unit arrested two men who received over 60 charges between them and seized weapons and drugs at a home in the Munroe East neighbourhood.

The Street Crime Unit executed a search warrant Saturday, February 10, 2018. As a result, two adult males were charged with a variety of firearms and drug offences. Police seized the following items:

  • $1270 in cash
  • 1.5 oz. of methamphetamine
  • 17 grams of cocaine
  • 20 oz. of cutting agent
  • 11 grams of marihuana
  • Tools and precursors for the production of methamphetamine
  • 6 firearms in included a loaded shotgun

Police have charged Mark Gary Shibata, 31, with 34 separate charges related to firearms and drugs. Also charged was Owen James Quesnel, 29, with 27 separate charges related to firearms and drugs including 14 breaches of court orders.
