Man Killed at Bar Italia Identified as Noel Talingdan, 37

WINNIPEG – Thursday police identified the man who died from gun shot wounds, as Noel Talingdan, a 37-year-old man from Winnipeg.

No further update has been provided on the condition of the woman, who was also shot and taken to hospital in stable condition.

Police are asking anyone who was present at Bar Italia at the time of the shooting or in the immediate area to call investigators at 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).

WINNIPEG – Police have confirmed a shooting at Bar Italia happened around 12:40 AM Tuesday morning.

The Tactical Support Unit responded located a 37-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman, both suffering from gunshot wounds.

The woman was taken to hospital in stable condition. The man is in critical condition where he remains at this time.

WINNIPEG – Winnipeg Police are reporting that one person taken to hospital is in critical condition the other in stable condition.


WINNIPEG – Parts of Corydon Avenue are closed off this morning following a shooting at Bar Italia Tuesday just after midnight.

It is being reported that two people have been taken to hospital due to the shooting. There is no information on their condition at this time.
