Man Threatening Employees Along Isabel

WINNIPEG, MB. - Winnipeg Police used a taser to arrest a man that appeared to have a gun on Isabel Avenue.

It was around 6:30 PM last evening when police were notified that a man, possibly armed with a firearm was in the area of William Avenue and Isabel Street. The man had caused issues at a business on Isabel when he pulled out an object, which an employee thought was a gun. The same man went on to threaten to "fire" at an employee at another business on Isabel.

Police located the man outside a coffee shop on Isabel where he was in possession of what appeared to be the barrel of a shotgun under his jacket. The man refused to listen to police so they used a taser thus allowing police to take the man into custody.

Police arrested and charges Martin Eric Sinclair, 42-years-old of Winnipeg with;

  • Cause Disturbance
