$25,000 Worth of Methamphetamines Found in Niakwa Homes

WINNIPEG – Police seized $25,000 worth of methamphetamines from two homes in the Niakwa area of WInnipeg.

Thursday afternoon the Street Crime Unit and Tactical Support executed search warrants at two homes in the Niakwa neighbourhood.

Police said they seized approximately 9.25 ounces of methamphetamine with a street value of $25,900, scales and packaging materials

Leif Kristjan Olafson, a 36-years-old man from Winnipeg has been charged with Possess Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking.
