WINNIPEG, MB. – A routined traffic stop by Winnipeg police leads to multiple charges for a 25-year-old Winnipeg man.
Around 9:30 a.m. on December 11, police, in the 400 block of Sargent Ave., were speaking with a man about a Highway Traffic Act infraction when the man decided to flee from police.
The man, Jessie Emile Dumas 25 of Winnipeg, was caught a short distance away and placed under arrest. Police discovered that Dumas had 3 outstanding arrest warrants. Police also located a quantity of methamphetamine with a street value of $200, and marihuana.
Dumas has been charged with:
- Warrant of Arrest x 3
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance (Marihuana)
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance
for the Purpose (Methamphetamine)
- Possess Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order
