WINNIPEG - A new report at city hall is suggesting zipper merge signs could improve traffic flow in Winnipeg construction zones.
The report says when lanes are closed, people tend to change lanes quickly which can lead to more delays.
When zipper merge signs are used in other cities, people are more likely to do it which improves the movement of vehicles.
Signs would cost $5,000 and be funded through the Traffic Engineering Improvements Program.
Councillors will review the report on Tuesday.
