WINNIPEG - Two 94 year olds, married for 72 years, have been reunited at their Winnipeg care home.
They were forced apart by COVID-19 isolation requirements when Shirley Kleiman tested positive for the virus.
Her husband Sam could no longer visit her every day at the Saul and Claribel Simkin Centre, something he had done for the last four years.
But when her isolation ended on Tuesday, a recovery parade was held at the home and Sam was there to greet Shirley.
The Simkin Centre has held parades like this since the pandemic began using Stayin' Alive as a theme song.
