WINNIPEG - A convenience store in Winnipeg has applied for a dining room liquor licence.
A spokesperson for 7-Eleven Canada says the location at Ness and Sturgeon is being remodelled with an eating area including tables and seating.
There are already licensed 7-Eleven restaurants in Alberta and Ontario but the plan to serve beer and wine would be a first in Manitoba
The company says if it gets the licence, several safety measures will be implimented.
