WINNIPEG - Fire-paramedic chief John Lane has told a city hall committee that Waverly West will be getting a new fire hall.
The plan is to build it on a new stretch of Bison Drive east of Kenaston Boulevard.
Area councillor Janice Lukes has been lobbying for this for a long time. She says this is very exciting news and work should begin within a couple years.
