Manitoba Post StaffNews

WINNIPEG – It’s Tourism Week across Canada and to celebrate, you’re being encouraged to check out the Winnipeg Loop.

The self-guided walking tour starts under the canopy at the Forks Market Plaza and stretches nine and a half kilometres.

The three and a half hour tour takes you to almost 60 significant spots and attractions throughout St. Boniface, the Exchange District and Downtown Winnipeg.

“We know our local shops, hotels, restaurants and attractions are struggling and this is the ideal time to encourage Winnipeggers to be a tourist in their own city,” says Dayna Spiring, CEO & President of Economic Development Winnipeg.
