Unusual Police Auction Items

WINNIPEG - If you’re in the market to expand your spoon collection, would like to try out eight different kinds of saws, or just want to learn to play guitar, the Winnipeg Police Service says their Unclaimed Goods Auction has you covered.

With 326 items available between April 7 and April 14, in nearly every category you can imagine, the popular annual event at Associated Auto Auction would be sure to attract a crowd if it wasn’t online-only this year as a result of COVID-19.

Every year brings a familiar variety of bicycles, electronics, and construction equipment, but this year the auction features a few unusual lots.

On the auction block is a beer tasting set, various LEGO playsets and assorted LEGO pieces, three vacuum sealers, three vehicle battery chargers. Plus, two sound mixer systems for the aspiring DJ are up for bid, six electric toothbrushes, and a trumpet.

This year’s clothing line includes seven pairs of assorted shoes, and eight parkas to stow away for next winter, one of them a slightly worn size L Canada goose.

To make a bid during the auction, or have a look at a few of the items up for grabs, you can visit The Associated Auto Auction website.
