WINNIPEG - The five week strike by the University of Manitoba Faculty association has ended and students will be back in class this morning.
Members of the union have voted to ratify a tentative deal but no details of the agreement are known yet.
The walkout involved 1,200 professors, instructors and librarians and is just the latest in a series of labour disruptions over several years that have impacted the education of thousands of young people.
