WINNIPEG - Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is to visit Winnipeg on today to meet with Manitoba Premier Heather Stefanson.
Stefanson's Conservative government has been working with the federal government on several issues, including a recent agreement to upgrade the rail line to Churchill.
However, Stefanson has also asked the feds to temporarily suspend the carbon tax to help with inflation.
She has also criticized Ottawa’s plan to cut fertilizer emissions by 30 per cent by 2030.
