WINNIPEG - Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is calling the discovery of another Indigenous woman's body at a Winnipeg landfill heartbreaking.
He says the federal government needs to do more to end the epidemic of violence against Indigenous women and girls.
Police are investigating the death of 33 year old Linda Mary Beardy as a homicide.
Her body was found at Brady Landfill south of the city on Monday.
However, investigators do not believe the case is linked to the death of another Indigenous woman whose remains were also found at Brady last year.
