WINNIPEG - A former Winnipeg high school teacher accused of sexually assaulting three students has had the charges stayed.
In exchange for that, 28 year old Aylicia Klein has agreed to give up her teaching certificate and voluntarily go on the national child abuse registry.
She faced three counts each of sexual assault, sexual exploitation and luring. There was also a single count of providing liquor to a minor.
Klein was a special education teacher and soccer coach before being arrested.
There's no comment on the case from the Winnipeg School Division.
