WINNIPEG - The Salvation Army in Winnipeg is adding 60 beds at its facility, as the city's shelters see an increase in demand due to refugee claimants.
The organization is housing the emergency shelter at its Centre of Hope.
However, with winter coming, the Sally Ann says it wants to ensure more emergency beds are available.
Temperatures are expected to start dropping next week from current daytime highs in the mid-teens.
