WINNIPEG - Manitoba's NDP is promising to create a new Crown corporation to improve internet and cellular service, if they get elected.
Party leader Wab Kinew says he hears about connectivity issues all the time.
At their annual convention on the weekend, the opposition New Democrats also promised a higher minimum wage, more health care workers and a ban on new pipelines and fracking.
In all, more than 20 resolutions were passed on Saturday.
