Murray Tops New Poll

WINNIPEG - Probe Research says Glenn Murray is out in front to be Winnipeg's new mayor.

The former mayor has 44 per cent support to do the job again. St. James city councillor Scott Gillingham is a distant second at 16 per cent. Ex-MP Robert-Falcon Ouellette rounds out the top three with 13 per cent.

The rest of the candidates for mayor are below 10 per cent, led by former mayoral candidate Jenny Motkaluk who has the backing of eight per cent.

Winnipeggers will cast their ballots in a civic election on October 26th
