WINNIPEG - It's game one of the Winnipeg Jets and Edmonton Oilers tonight in their opening round series of the NHL playoffs.
Most hockey analysts are picking the Oilers to win, including our own Dave Petrishen, The Sports Doctor.
And why not, the Oilers had the Jets' number all season long.
But that's not stopping Mayor Brian Bowman from betting on our boys.
He has a friendly wager with his Edmonton counterpart, Mayor Don Iveson.
The loser promises to post a photo of himself wearing the other team's jersey and donate $200 to a food bank in the winning city.
It's SO on! Looking forward to a hard-fought series and seeing you in blue and orange @Mayor_Bowman. #LetsGoOilers https://t.co/e5j72lNavE
