WINNIPEG - A day after a new poll gave Glenn Murray a big lead in the campaign for mayor of Winnipeg, the 13th person to enter the race has announced his candidacy.
Charleswood-Tuxedo-Westwood city councillor Kevin Klein says he too want to be mayor.
He plans to hold a news conference next week to give details of his run for the mayor's office.
Thursday's Probe Research poll shows Murray with 44 per cent support, a 28 point lead over his closest competitor. 36 per cent said they would consider voting for Klein if he entered the race.
Winnipeggers go to the polls on October 26th.
