WINNIPEG - Environment Canada ha issued a heat warning for much of southern Manitoba including the city of Winnipeg.

A hot and humid air mass remains in place over the south end of the province.

Daytime highs in the low 30's, combined with high humidity, will result in humidex values in the upper 30's today.

A cold front, moving through the region tonight, will flush out the humidity and bring in cooler air for the rest of the week.
