Guilty Plea In Bus Stabbing

WINNIPEG - A man charged with stabbing a stranger to death on a Winnipeg Transit bus has pleaded guilty to manslaughter.

The Crown is recommending a sentence of 10 years in prison for 46 year old Justin James.

Court was told James stabbed 57 year old Raymond Hill in May of 2020 without warning.

Several people on the bus witnessed the attack including a man and his two grandchildren.
