Former Coach Pleads Guilty To Sex Charges

Coach Pleads Guilty

WINNIPEG - A former high school football coach has pleaded guilty to nine counts of sexual assault and two counts of luring.

Kelsey Albert Dana McKay entered his guilty pleas in court on Thursday in Winnipeg and will be sentenced at a later date.

McKay, who was first charged in April of 2022, coached for three decades at Churchill High School and Vincent Massey Collegiate.

The charges against McKay are connected to complaints from nine males, all under 18 at the time, in incidents that date back to the late 1990s and 2000s.
