COVID Better At Care Homes

WINNIPEG - The COVID-19 situation at personal care homes in the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is improving.

There are 166 active cases among residents, while 66 workers have the virus. The numbers haven't been that low since last month.

Larger scale outbreaks continue at four facilities. 28 of the city's 39 care homes have active cases of the virus right now.

The most recent outbreak was declared yesterday at Calvary Place where a worker has contracted coronavirus.
