COVID Closes Playgrounds

WINNIPEG - Playgrounds in Manitoba's biggest school division will be closed outside of regular hours during this period of remote learning.

Even though outdoor play is one of the few pleasures families have during the pandemic, the Winnipeg School Division says people have been congregating on the grounds at all hours which defeats the purpose of trying to limit the spread of the virus.

Signs will be installed so people in the community are aware.

Remote learning in Winnipeg and Brandon is in effect until at least May 30th.
