Jets Snap Winless Streak

WINNIPEG - Kyle Connor scored twice in the third period and the Winnipeg Jets ended a four-game winless streak with a 5-3 victory over the Arizona Coyotes Sunday afternoon at Gila River Arena. Connor has a point in 23 of his 29 road games this season and leads the Jets with 32 goals and 58 points so far this season.

Adam Lowry, Evgeny Svechnikov and Blake Wheeler also scored for the Jets, who rallied from a 3-2 deficit in the third period. Eric Comrie made 27 saves in his first start since February 17th and was particularly sharp in the third period, stopping all 14 shots he faced.

Winnipeg returns home to start a four game homestand tomorrow night against the Montreal Canadiens at 7pm (TSN3, 680 CJOB/Power 97). This will be the first meeting of the two clubs since their 2021 second round playoff series where the Habs swept the Jets in four straight games.
