Jets Snap Winless Streak

WINNIPEG - Paul Stastny scored twice and Eric Comrie made 28 saves as the Winnipeg Jets beat the St. Louis Blues 4-1 on Saturday afternoon to snap a six-game winless streak.

Comrie started for the first time since December 5th after Connor Hellebuyck’s 13 straight starts. Nate Schmidt and Kyle Connor were the Jets other goal scorers; Connor’s goal was his 24th of the season and he also earned an assist on Schmidt’s goal. Vladimir Tarasenko scored the Blues lone goal, and Ville Husso stopped 20 of the 23 shots he faced.

The Jets next see action Tuesday night in Philadelphia against the Flyers. Puck drop is at 6pm (TSN3, 680 CJOB/Power 97).
