WINNIPEG - Jason Robertson’s overtime goal gave the Dallas Stars a 4-3 win over the Winnipeg Jets on Friday night at American Airlines Arena.

After a scoreless first period, the returning Pierre-Luc Dubois gave the Jets a 1-0 lead 50 seconds into the second. Dallas took the lead with two quick goals midway through the period from Jacob Peterson and Tyler Seguin. Jansen Harkins evened the score at 16:21 to end the period 2-2. Jamie Benn’s third period goal looked like the game winner until with Connor Hellebuyck on the bench, Mark Scheifele sent the game into overtime with 31.9 seconds left in regulation.

Dallas outshot the Jets 35-34; Jake Oettinger looked strong in the Stars net. Hellebuyck made 31 saves in the loss.
