Jets Lose In OT

WINNIPEG - Even the returning Nikolaj Ehlers wasn’t enough as Jason Robertson scored his third goal of the game late in overtime to give the Dallas Stars a 4-3 victory over the Winnipeg Jets on Friday night at Canada Life Centre.

Paul Stastny scored two goals for the Jets (24-21-10) and Kyle Connor added the other. The Jets did erase 2 one goal deficits during the game and it looked like they were going to steal one from the Stars, going ahead 3-2, until Denis Gurianov’s tying goal late in the third period to send the game to overtime.

The Stars' Braden Holtby made 39 saves for the win while Connor Hellebuyck stopped 30 shots for Winnipeg.

The Jets' homestand continues Sunday night when they face the New York Rangers at 6pm (TSN3, 680 CJOB/Power 97).
