WINNIPEG - The playoff-bound Winnipeg Jets have launched a new campaign to sell season tickets.
It is hoped Forever Winnipeg will significantly boost attendance for next season.
True North Sports and Entertainment chairman Mark Chipman says the hockey team has lost 3,000 season ticket holders since the COVID-19 pandemic.
He points out in other Canadian NHL markets, the local business community helps drive season ticket sales but that is not the case in Winnipeg.
Chipman believes that needs to change.
