Two Males, One 12-Years-old, Pepper-Spray a Woman & Take Purse

WINNIPEG, MB – Two males, one a 12-year-old, pepper-sprayed and robbed a woman with a 5-year-old in a Winnipeg Hospital parking lot.

Saturday morning around 10:50 AM a woman in her 50’s was walking into the Concordia Hospital from the parking lot with a 5-year-old relative. Police said she was confronted by 2 male suspects and pepper-sprayed without warning. She fell to the ground and was robbed of her purse. The pepper-spray also contaminated the 5-year-old. Witnesses assisted the woman and child into the emergency room where they received medical attention.

Police located the two suspects at a home in the area. Both were arrested and charged.

Brandon Woodhouse, 20-years-old, has been charged with:

  • Robbery
  • Possession of a Prohibited Weapon
  • CDSA 4(1) Possession of Controlled Drug or Substance (Marihuana)

The 12-year-old boy was charged with:

  • Robbery
  • Assault with a Weapon
  • Possession of a Prohibited Weapon
