WSO Features Cirque de la Symphonie

WINNIPEG, MB. - What better way to spend an evening than to watch the graceful acrobats of the Cirque de la Symphony combined with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra.

Get dressed up in your best formal wear or even better, your Opulent Cirque - the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra (WSO) hosts its 70th Anniversary Gala next Thursday, April 26, with a reception at the Centennial Concert Hall before dinner in the newly-renovated Alloway Hall at the Manitoba Museum.

The gala features performances by the WSO and the world-renowned acrobat troupe Cirque de la Symphonie. Chances are running out to see Alexander Mickelthwate at the helm of the WSO. He and Resident Conductor Julian Pellicano will split the conducting duties at the gala.

Gala guests will have the chance to win many silent and live auction prizes, including cultural experiences, sports packages, and once-in-a-lifetime travel adventures.
