WINNIPEG - A woman has been charged with attempted murder after a six year old boy was stabbed in Winnipeg.
Police say they were called to a home in the Burrows/Central neighbourhood at about noon on Wednesday.
Officers found the boy and provided emergency care, including the use of a chest seal.
The victim was sent to hospital in critical condition but has since been upgraded to stable.
The woman, in her 20s, was arrested at the home. She is also accused of aggravated assault and possession of a weapon.
