Winnipeg Man Arrested in Taxi After a Gun and Drugs Were Found

WINNIPEG – A Winnipeg man was arrested after police found him with a loaded gun in the passenger seat of a taxi.

On December 11th at 1:30 am police observed a passenger in a taxi committing a traffic violation.

When they stopped the vehicle, they discovered a loaded and improvised .22 calibre firearm partially concealed under the seat. They seized the gun and arrested the suspect.

When they searched the man they also found 16 one-gram ‘flaps’ of cocaine with a street value of $1,280 and two rounds of ammunition.

18 year-old Brock Bentley Mann has been charged with multiple firearm and drug trafficking infractions.

He was held in custody.
