Online Threats Arrest

WINNIPEG - A man has been arrested after threats against police were posted online.

The posts talked about harming officers and also exhibited suicidal thoughts.

Cops went to the man's home on Friday afternoon and cleared out the apartment complex in the 300 block of Cumberland Avenue for safety reasons.

They put him under arrest after tasering him.

The suspect is charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and mischief under $5,000.

35 year old Jean-Paul Pierre Daigneault remains in custody.
