Victim of City's 32nd Homicide Identified.

WINNIPEG - The victim of Winnipeg's 32nd homicide has now been identified as 37 year-old Darcy Lesley Rose.

Yesterday, police responded to a report of a man who had been stabbed on Talbot Street. He was taken to hospital but later died as a result of his injuries

The incident is being investigated by members of the Winnipeg Police Homicide Unit. Detectives believe that people who were in the area during the early morning hours of October 23 may have valuable information regarding this murder. Information that may seem inconsequential or irrelevant could be critical to investigators.

Anyone who may have been in the area of Talbot Avenue and Stadacona Street and may have any information about activities or observations during the early morning hours is asked to call either 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
