Unsuspecting Buyer Car-Jacked at Gun Point

WINNIPEG – An unsuspecting man who arranged online to meet someone selling an item he wanted, instead the man was car-jacked at gun point.

On Monday night Police met with a 36-year-old man, who, after responding to an online advertisement, went to a pre-arranged location in the Dufferin area to purchase an electronic item. During the meeting, the would-be seller pulled a gun and ordered the victim to walk away from his vehicle. The suspect then fled with the victim’s blue, 2004, 4-door Ford Explorer.

The victim was not injured.
