Food Delivery Man Robbed at Gunpoint

WINNIPEG – A 39 year-old man delivering food was robbed at gunpoint by three people early in the morning on January 14th.

When the delivery person arrived at a home on Yale Avenue, the three suspects were sitting on the front steps. After receiving the food, one of the suspects took out a handgun, refused to pay for the food and threatened to shoot the victim. They then ran away with the food.

Police along with K-9 tracked the suspects from Yale Avenue, where the robbery took place, to a home on Ravelston Avenue West. The suspects were taken into custody and after searching the residence, police found numerous rounds of various ammunition, 5 magazines, an air pistol, sword, scope, cut off stock, SKS Semi-Automatic rifle, Crossman air rifle and a Ruger Bolt action rifle.

20 year-old Alex Mary Maud of Fairford, Manitoba has been charged with Armed Robbery Using a Firearm, and multiple firearm charges.

A 15-year-old female has been charged with Armed Robbery Using a Firearm and multiple firearm charges.

A 17-year-old male has been charged with Armed Robbery Using a Firearm and multiple firearm charges.

All three have been detained.
