Driver Charged In Collision with Cyclist

WINNIPEG – A 41 year-old driver from Brandon has been charged for a fatal collision going back to September 4, 2018.

The driver of the semi-truck failed to stop at a red light at the intersection of Lagimodiere Blvd. and Bishop Grandin Blvd, where he struck and killed a cyclist.

He has been charged under the Criminal Code with Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle Causing Death. As dictated by the Criminal code he was released on a Promise to Appear.
