Armed Robbery Suspects Arrested

WINNIPEG – Three men have been arrested in connection to two armed robberies that occurred on August 16.

The first robbery took place at approximately 6:50 p.m. when two suspects entered a pharmacy located on Henderson Hwy. One of the suspects was armed with a handgun and the other with a sawed-off shotgun. They fled with an undisclosed amount of cash to a waiting vehicle driven by a third suspect.

Then, at approximately 8:55 p.m. two suspects entered a hotel vendor located in on McPhillips St., again, one was armed with a handgun and one with a sawed-off shotgun. They fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

49 year-old William Arthur Sampson, 47 year-old Charles Brian Lambert and 20 year-old Tariq Devonte Blaire, have all been charged with numerous robbery and firearms-related offences and remanded into custody.
