56 Year -Old Man Attacks 4 People in Bus Shelter

WINNIPEG – A 56 year old Winnipeg man has been charged with assault after attacking four people at a bus shelter.

The incident happened on March 13 at 7:20 pm. in a bus shelter at the intersection of Graham Avenue and Fort Street. The man attacked two women, punching one and shoving the other. Two Winnipeg Transit Supervisors who were nearby intervened and were both assaulted and threatened by the suspect. None of the victims required medical attention.

56 year-old Glen Roger Asselin has been charged with Assault x 4, Utter Threats, and Possess Weapon for Dangerous Purpose. He was detained in custody.
