WINNIPEG - The Winnipeg Police Firearms Investigative Enforcement Unit and the RCMP’s National Weapons Enforcement and Support Team have busted a gun trafficking operation.
Two warrants were executed on May 5th at a residence in the 100 block of Agassiz Drive where 19 firearms and ammunition were seized and a 22 year old man was arrested.
On May 10th, a 23 year old man turned himself in at Winnipeg Police headquarters.
Both face a number of weapons charges and were released on undertakings as mandated by the Criminal Code.
