Bombers Remain Undefeated

WINNIPEG - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers scored 28 points in the second half on Thursday night, handing the Montreal Alouettes a 35-20 home loss to move to 9-0 on the season.

Despite throwing three interceptions, Bombers QB Zach Collaros finished 15 of 26 for 210 yards and 2 touchdowns, finding Dalton Schoen and Rasheed Bailey in the end zone. Collaros’ favourite target was Drew Wolitarsky who hauled in 5 passes for 90 yards. Brady Oliveira had another strong game, rushing for 92 yards on 17 carries and a touchdown. He also caught a Collaros pass for 35 yards. Janarion Grant returned a punt 57 yards for a touchdown as the Bombers were effective in all aspects of their game.

Montreal’s Trevor Harris was 16 of 26 for 127 yards and a touchdown while Dominique Davis was 4 of 5 for 76 yards with a touchdown as well.

The Bombers and the Alouettes face each other again next Thursday at IG Field with the kickoff at 7:30 p.m.
