Winnipeg's Bombers Host Alouettes

Bombers Host Alouettes

WINNIPEG - The 10-1 Winnipeg Blue Bombers will face newly acquired Trevor Harris and the Montreal Alouettes tonight at IG Field in Winnipeg’s last home regular season game.

Montreal acquired Harris a few weeks ago from the Edmonton Elks, and are 6-5 on the season and have won four of their last five games and still could capture first place in the East as Toronto and Hamilton haven’t locked up the division yet.

Coming off a bye week Winston Rose and Sergio Castillo, who are coming from the NFL, will on the field with the Bombers after rejoining the team in October. The Bombers need to remain focused as they have locked up first place in the West, and shouldn’t take their foot off the gas pedal. The Alouettes gave the Blue Bombers plenty of trouble in 2019; who can forget September 21st 2019 when the Als reeled off 21 unanswered points in the 4th quarter to complete a 38-37 comeback win in Montreal? Winnipeg can’t let that happen again.

If you are going to the game, be in your seats early as the Royal Canadian Air Force will be conducting a flyby over the game, as it is Military Appreciation night. Kickoff is 6pm (TSN 4, 680 CJOB).
