Bombers In Hamilton Today

WINNIPEG - By now you know the Winnipeg Blue Bombers handily defeated the Saskatchewan Roughriders 54-20 last Saturday in the Banjo Bowl at IG Field and now hit the road to face the 3-9 Hamilton Tiger-Cats at Tim Hortons field on Saturday afternoon.

It’s hard to come up with any kind of scenario that would lead anyone to believe Hamilton has a chance against the 12-1 Bombers. Last week Zack Collaros continued his amazing season throwing for four touchdowns and completing 21-of-25 pass attempts for 273 yards and no interceptions. He was replaced with Dru Brown with nine minutes left in the final quarter. The Bombers scored touchdowns on all four of their first-half possessions, added points the first eight times they held the football, and scored on nine of 10 possessions in the game. The Bombers didn't have to punt until three minutes were left in the fourth quarter.

The Tiger-Cats are coming off their bye week and will look to rebound from a Labour Day beating at home against the Toronto Argonauts, a game in which Hamilton was down to their third-string quarterback. Dane Evans has been a full participant in practice so far this week, so he should be good to go for the Ti-Cats.

I won’t matter who starts for Hamilton, this game should be over by the first quarter. Kickoff is 3pm (680 CJOB, TSN3).
