WINNIPEG - This one shouldn’t be close.
Sure, the last time Toronto and Winnipeg played against each other, the Argos rallied from a 20-0 deficit at BMO Field to beat the Bombers 28-27. However, prior to that, at IG Field in July of 2019, the Blue and Gold hammered the Double Blue 48-21. And there’s that small fact that Toronto beat Calgary last Saturday in Cowtown. But the 2021 version of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers won’t be stopped, especially at home. And former Argonaut turned Blue Bomber head coach Mike O’Shea loves beating his old team, and after that embarrassing loss in Toronto, he will pull out all the stops to ensure that doesn't happen again. Andrew Harris and Darwin Adams will again miss tonight’s tilt, but that shouldn’t matter in the least as Zach Collaros is in sync with Nick Demski and Kenny Lawler, and well, Brady Oliveira is a beast and will run wild again in front of family and friends.
Game time is 7:30pm at IG Field.
