WINNIPEG - Plan the parade!
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are a perfect 2-0 on the 2021 season after last night’s 20-7 victory over the Toronto Argonauts in front of 22,143 fans at IG Field. Quarterback Zack Collaros was 32-of-40 for 292 yards with two TDs and one interception. Collaros combined with Rasheed Bailey for his first CFL touchdown and tossed one to Nick Demski late in the 4th quarter as well. Kicker Tyler Crapigna added 2 field goals; both from 22 yards out. Winnipeg’s defense once again was the difference holding the Argo’s to only 1 touchdown, Nick Arbuckle, who didn't play in the Argos' first game because of a hamstring injury, came off the bench in the 3rd quarter leading Toronto on a seven-play, 75-yard drive that ended with John White's 30-yard touchdown run for their only score.
The Bombers face the Argos next Saturday at BMO Field in Toronto.
