WINNIPEG - Manitoba's Hydrologic Forecast Centre has a wind warning today for lake shorelines.
A northwest wind, gusting to 70 kilometres an hour, could cause wave action and water levels to rise 1.5 metres or more.
Residents and property owners along the south basin of Lake Manitoba are being asked to take all necessary precautions.
The shorelines near Gimli and Victoria Beach on Lake Winnipeg could also be at risk.
